Generation 5.5
The Generation 5.5 is a small update of the Gen.5 version, in which two further improvements have been made. Furthermore, these weapons are already equipped with our Begadi CORE EFCS/Mosfet, Begadi PRO CNC HopUp, Begadi AEP Balanced HopUp rubber and a 6.03mm tuning barrel. Thanks to the built-in EFCS, it is also possible to use a 3-shot burst mode. With the recommended 11.1V battery, the firing rate increases to approx. 23 BBs/second.
The CORE now has a new software version that works better with the new Cyma Motors and also supports PreCocking with 11.1V battery.
For even better durability, we also install our CNC plain bearings and the CNC Anti Reversal Latch made of steel in the Gen.5.5. This increases the longevity of the gun without having to replace wearing parts, which is an advantage especially for frequent players. To make programming the EFCS easier, we deliver the Gen.5.5 directly with our adjustment aid.
Battery and charger
Compared to the Gen.5, the Gen. 5.5 is supplied without battery and charger! Many players already own a suitable battery or a charger for LiPo batteries, which eliminates the need to buy them twice. Please note: The Core has received a software update to prevent deep discharging with weak 7.4V batteries. As a result, the Core now switches off a little earlier so as not to damage the battery. However, this can also occur if the battery is too weak. We recommend using only 11.1V AEP Bosst batteries in the 5.5. This delivers a very fast response with an ROF of up to 23 BBs/second.
When choosing a charger, always keep an eye on the price/performance ratio. Our inexpensive USB chargers are usually sufficient for these small batteries. If you want better quality with more precise balancing, we recommend a higher-quality charger (linked below).
Suitable batteries and chargers:
We advise against using weak batteries (7.4V with less than 600mAh - 30C)! These usually provide too little energy.

Adjustment of the firing modes and PreCocking:
With the built-in Begadi CORE for AEP you can choose from 4 different settings:
1: - Semi, Burst, Auto (standard on delivery)
2: - Semi, Auto
3: - Semi, Burst
4: - Semi, Semi
If you want to change the mode, proceed as follows:
1: Disconnect the battery from the gun
2: Unload the gun and point it in a safe direction
3: Press the rear microswitch (small switch) and keep it pressed during the entire process.
(we recommend using the setting aid / programming aid for Begadi CORE EFCS / Mosfet of the Cyma Gen.5 AEP series for this, as the CORE can easily be damaged if improper tools are used)
4: Plug in the battery and pull the Trigger within 3 seconds
5: The CORE is now in programming mode and the Motor starts to vibrate
The number of vibrations reflects the corresponding mode. If you now want to set Semi, Burst (mode 3),
wait until the Motor vibrates 3 times in succession. Now press the Trigger once to save the corresponding mode.
PreCocking:
PreCocking can be activated for Gen. 5.5 with 7.4V and 11.1V.
To activate or deactivate this function, proceed as follows:
1: Disconnect the battery from the gun
2: Discharge the gun and point it in a safe direction
3: Connect the battery and press the Trigger within 3 seconds
4: The PreCocking is now activated/deactivated
Warning of a short circuit:
Please note that with some Mini-Dean plugs the contacts of the Bushings may be flush with the Body (see last picture in the store) This does not affect the function and operation, however we advise increased caution when connecting the battery to the gun or transporting the battery with conductive objects! An attempt to insert the plug the wrong way round can lead to a short circuit and resultant damage. The same applies if the two contact surfaces come into contact with a metallic material at the same time. In the event of a short circuit, the electronics (Core) may be damaged, as the short-circuit protection can only take effect between the Core and the Motor. Such damage would not be covered by the warranty.
Suitable Reddots:
Reddots with a hole spacing of 19mm (max 20mm) (D3mm) as well as 13mm (D4mm) can be used.
