With the new ASCU PRO+ (Airsoft Smart Control Unit), Airsoft Systems (Made in EU) delivers an accessible mechanical EFCS with MOSFET (Electronic Fire Control System) compatible with all standard V2 gearboxes.

Due to the customized shape of the board, it can be installed without modifications in models from Cyma, ICS, Lonex, E&L, E&C, VFC, Slong, G&G, Specna Arms, Classic Army, and many other manufacturers.

This system features an automatic Pre-Cocking mode (can be activated when using a brushed motor, not necessary for brushless motors). Here, the piston is preloaded after the shot depending on the spring strength, motor, and battery, allowing faster trigger response for the next shot. The ASCU PRO+ also includes an automatic active brake, which brakes the motor only as much as needed. This results in longer motor brush life and reduced heat generation. As the system can handle short bursts of up to 240A, even large 11.1V LiPo batteries are not a problem. (However, we advise against using RC batteries with 3000mAh or more! While the ASCU can handle it, other components in the gun may suffer damage more quickly.) This is a plug & play system! No settings or prior knowledge are necessary. Once installed, it’s ready to use right away and giving you all functions you actually need.

PRO+
This is the latest version, now also compatible with all brushless motors. The active brake has been improved in the software to ensure a consistent nozzle position even with these high-speed motors. We have tested the PRO+ version with 1200mAh 11.1V and 1800mAh HC100 11.1V batteries in various systems (18:1 - 16:1 - 13:1) using a 30K and a 35K brushless motor. Please note that all components of the replica must be compatible with a brushless motor. More info on this can be found in the next section. The battery monitoring feature has also been adjusted in the PRO+ version and now intervenes earlier with very powerful batteries. The Pre-Cocking mode is deactivated while using a brushless motor and not needed.

Important Information on Using Brushless Technology:
Please note: These motors have extremely high power, which all other components in the replica must withstand. Common weak points include ball bearings or standard sintered gears. We therefore recommend using only high-quality components! Most ball bearings should be replaced with steel bushings. If your replica does not yet have CNC gears, they should also be upgraded. Begadi assumes no liability for damaged components. Battery choice is also important. With an 11.1V battery, brushless motors reach very high RPMs, affecting the timing of the tappet plate and thus the magazine feeding. If you already experience feeding issues with a brushed motor, they may become more severe with a brushless one. Your magazines must keep up with the replica’s speed. When using 13:1 gears + 30K+ brushless motors, we recommend only 7.4V batteries (e.g., HC100) or a sector gear with short-stroke.

Setting Up the International Version with Brushless Motor:
Please note: A brushless motor cannot be used in a 0.5J airsoft replica! This combination is therefore only suitable for customers outside of Germany. If you want to change the firing mode of the ASCU, this unfortunately is not possible with a brushless motor! Why?: A brushless motor, unlike a brushed motor, cannot emit sounds/vibrations. Thus, you receive no feedback during the setup. We recommend setting up the ASCU PRO+ International version with a brushed motor. Once the setup is complete, the brushed motor can be replaced with a brushless one.

Information on Versions Available in the Shop:
We offer our customers two versions of this system. One is the international version (ownership in Germany is permitted, installation only in airsoft guns with less than 0.5 joules of energy!) and an official "Semi Only" version for use in Germany with guns above 0.5 joules! The international version can be easily programmed into four different firing modes.

Installation Note:
A detailed installation and user manual in English is linked below. Please note that good technical knowledge is required for installation! Damage due to installation errors is not covered under warranty. Tipp: If your sector gear requires more than 0.5mm of shimming, we also recommend spacing the board (micro switch) by 0.2 – 0.3mm.

Precocking:
Precocking with a brushed motor can only be programmed if the correct selector plate is installed. If you use a different one, make sure that the side microswitch is NOT activated in semi mode. If you are using a wide selector plate, it must be shortened accordingly.
