The FPS Airsoft carbon-fiber reinforced (S)AEG Tappet Plate V3 is made from a polymer specifically strengthened with carbon fibers and is compatible with Version 3 gearboxes.
Thanks to the carbon-fiber reinforcement, the material offers increased dimensional stability without sacrificing flexibility. This is especially relevant in setups where the tappet plate moves significantly faster and more frequently — such as with brushless motors, high-speed configurations, or powerful short-stroke builds.In such systems, higher acceleration forces act on the tappet plate. Standard tappet plates made of nylon fiber or basic polymer (e.g., FPS Basic) work reliably in typical tuning or stock builds. However, once cycle rates increase significantly, reinforced material can help prevent deformation or premature wear. The carbon fibers help the plate maintain its geometry and ensure stable operation.
This carbon-fiber reinforced version is ideal for players running consistently high rates of fire or extremely responsive setups, while standard nylon or polymer plates remain sufficient for moderate-performance systems.
