The FPS Airsoft carbon-fiber reinforced (S)AEG Tappet Plate V2 is made from a polymer specifically strengthened with carbon fibers and is compatible with Version 2 gearboxes.

Thanks to the carbon-fiber reinforcement, the material gains increased dimensional stability without losing flexibility. This is especially important in setups where the tappet plate moves significantly faster and more frequently — for example with brushless motors, high-speed configurations, or powerful short-stroke builds.

In such systems, higher acceleration forces act on the tappet plate. Standard tappet plates made from nylon fiber or basic polymer (e.g., FPS Basic) work reliably in typical tuning or standard configurations. However, once the stress from high cycle rates increases, a reinforced material can help prevent deformation or premature wear. The carbon fibers help the plate retain its geometry and maintain consistent movement.

This carbon-fiber reinforced version is therefore ideal for players running sustained high rates of fire or extremely responsive systems, while classic nylon or polymer tappet plates remain sufficient for moderate-performance builds.
