This fire steel is a self-contained system of scraper, fire steel and tinder box.
It consists of a large, solid mixed metal rod, a protective cap that also contains the scraper and the handle of the fire steel, which serves as a storage box for the tinder.
This way you have all the utensils together to start a fire. We have tested the fire steel extensively in the fall, winter and spring, it has shown consistent performance here. We recommend this fire steel especially for survival equipment, continuous use and longer tours!
