Begadi silicone oil with 50% PTFE incl. brush, 30ml - 4000 cPs version -
Our Begadi silicone oil was specially developed for use in airsoft guns.
It is ideally suited for use on seals such as piston heads, cylinder heads, nozzles, etc
Due to the PTFE (50% Teflon) content, the sliding properties are improved. Simply put: it sticks less. This also leaves small ventilation holes on the pistonhead free. With the help of the brush attached to the cap, the quantity can be dosed well and the oil applied easily.
We recommend stirring the oil briefly before use.
Properties:
- Silicone oil in 2 viscosities - suitable for every cylinder system (AEP, AEG, spring pressure)
- The Teflon additive is 50%
- Teflon itself (gray/whitish) has a very low coefficient of friction and high emergency running properties
- improved long-term lubrication
- Temperature range -25°C to +180°C
- Chemically inert
- Low surface tension which results in good activity
- Pressure resistance
- excellent water repellent properties
Possible applications:
- AEP/AEG cylinder range as well as nozzle range
- Spring pressure cylinder and piston
- O-rings and other rubber seals
- Gas router and pistonhead for GBBs
Viscosity:
Our silicone oil comes in 4000 cPs & 8000 cPs, cPs stands for flow rate. The higher the viscosity. Example: 1 cPs has water and approx. 10000 cPs has honey.
Accordingly, the 4000 cPs is more suitable for very fast and smooth-running systems.
The 8000 cPs is more suitable for normal, smooth and slower systems.
Basically, both lubricants are suitable for cylinder systems, depending on the setup, a higher or lower silicone oil can deliver good results
