Begadi PRO mpaX - CNC Alu HopUp Unit for Begadi Sport MOD 5, Cyma MP5, CM.041 series
Manufacturing and development:
Due to frequent demand and experience of our workshop team, we decided to develop the mpaX.
Decisive were occurring problems of the original unit like e.g.
Construction:
Our mpaX Unit is completely CNC manufactured and works in the so-called TDC system, in which the inserted tensioner is moved over a guide onto the HopUp rubber.
This creates a constant and evenly distributed pressure on the patch of rubber. Standard AEG rubbers can still be used.
We recommend the combination with our Begadi PRO HopUp rubbers (FLY5, SHP5 or MAG5, MHP5)
If you would like to use a 7mm HopUp system, this is also possible. A suitable tensioner is included in the delivery.
For a 7mm system we recommend the following rubbers: FLY7, SHP7 and MAG7.
To prevent unintentional adjustment of the unit, the tension resistance of the adjustment lever can be adjusted using the included rubbers.
If you install a red one on both sides (hard version), a little more force is needed to adjust, an unintentional adjustment due to shocks and vibrations is no longer possible.
If you want the lever more smoothly, use the black version (soft) of the rubbers.
After mounting, it is still possible to adjust the HopUp steplessly from the side.
Due to the improved lever and its contact surface, a very fine adjustment of the HopUp is possible.
A position indication of the current setting can be found on the lever.
During the development we have kept to the original Cyma Nozzle with a length of 21.50mm.
An exchange of the Nozzle is not mandatory by this.

Deviations on the inner holder:
we are currently aware of two defects on the Cyma inner casting which may need to be corrected prior to assembly. These "may" occur depending on the manufacture date/batch of the gun. Mostly older models (like SD6) are affected.
1: Older batches of the gun may have a casting defect inside. This must be removed in order for the bore to be completely round.
2: There may be batches where the bore is only 12.50mm in diameter. However, this should be 12.60 - 12.70mm.

- Inconsistent trajectory due to the soft hop-up arm of the original unit
- Occurring tolerances, which make an exchange of the Nozzle necessary
- Wear of the BB feed of the original unit
- Holding force of the adjustment lever had to be adjusted frequently
- Adjustment of the original unit is inaccurate
