Begadi Picatinny Rear & Front Sight Bundle "Low Profile", made of nylon-reinforced Polymer - TAN
Other interesting articles:
This set consists of a Flip-Up Front and Rear Sight made of durable nylon-fiber composite. Both sight elements can be opened manually and lock reliably without play thanks to high spring tension. When folded in, the overall height is just 9.5 mm - ideal for flat mounts or as a secondary sighting solution.
A special detail: even when folded in, both elements have an integrated, flat emergency sight. This is not adjustable, but allows the user to aim under the scope if the optics are mounted at the appropriate height (e.g. on cantilever or co-witness mounts) - a functional advantage in the event of an optics failure.
Both the front and rear sights can be adjusted without tools via defined clicks. The adjustment is based on the MOA principle (Minute of Angle), which is also common for optical sights. With a sighting line of 14.5 inches / 36 cm, the click adjustment is around 0.7 MOA (Rear Sight) or approx. 0.64 MOA (Front Sight) per click (at 100 m). This enables precise correction of the point of impact - not only at close range, but also at medium distances.
Use of this table:
The table describes how the line of sight changes with a >Click< of the adjustment. It is important to take the distance of the Front and Rearsight into account. 25cm usually corresponds to shorter weapons, such as MP5 and co, 36cm is the normal sighting distance for a Nova MK18 and similar weapons.
Practical example:You want to shoot a Begadi Nova 18 and have a distance of 10m to the target. The hits are on average 15mm too far to the left and 10mm too low:
❖ One >Click< at 25m corresponds to an adjustment of 5mm at a distance of Front - Rear 36cm
❖ You adjust the rearsight 3 >Click< to the right
❖ And the Frontsight 2 >Click< upwards.
All in all, these sights are not decorative elements, but functional, precisely adjustable sights that can be used both as a backup and as a primary aiming aid.
Technical data:
» Material: nylon fiber composite (high-strength)
» Weight Front Sight: 20 g
