Our Commando cotton net scarf is a functional and versatile piece of equipment for airsoft and outdoor use. Thanks to its sophisticated design and robust, breathable material, it is suitable for a wide range of applications - whether in the field, on the playing field or in everyday life
With a size of around 175 × 85 cm, the scarf offers a sufficiently large area for numerous types of use, while remaining light and compact. Weighing around 170 g, it can be folded up to save space and stored in a rucksack or equipment bag. The scarf is made of pure cotton, is edged all around with sturdy seam tape and can be washed at 30 °C without any problems.
In airsoft and paintball, the scarf not only serves as an item of clothing, but also as a flexible camouflage solution. It can be placed over helmets, rucksacks, optical devices or weapons to reduce glare and light reflections and visually dissolve the contours of equipment and bodies. In combination with vegetation or other camouflage materials, it can help to improve the integration of the environment. Due to its structure, the material also supports the reduction of infrared signature (IRR), which can be important in tactical scenarios. It also complements Protective Goggles and masks to absorb neck blows.
If required, the scarf can be individually dyed with commercially available textile dyes or adapted to the respective area of application. The mesh structure is strong enough to be used as a makeshift carrying aid or arm sling. In emergencies, it can be used for splinting limbs or as an improvised luggage net. For stationary applications, such as observation or surveillance, two scarves sewn together can serve as a privacy screen or makeshift camouflage net for a small observation post.
