This hard shell holster, developed and produced by Begadi, was designed specifically for AEP magazines.
It is characterized by a robust and compact design and it offers space for up to three AEP magazines.
The six clips, which are embedded in the material, hold the magazines optimally, so that even with rapid movements nothing is lost (self-locking). The hard shell holster consists of two parts, which can be connected by means of hooks and screws.
You can mount the hard shell holster, via the eyelets on the left and right, on a belt or loop it into a MOLLE system via the four mounting holes on the back. The hard shell holster is made of a fiber-reinforced nylon plastic. Brass threaded inserts have been recessed into the lower portion for the connecting screws. The integrated hooks provide additional hold. Due to the design, further securing measures such as a lid or similar are not necessary. Thus, a very fast and intuitive pulling of the magazines is no longer a problem.
Assembly instructions:
The hard shell holster is delivered in two parts. The screws and the hexagonal wrench are included.
For belt mounting, you can connect the two parts directly and guide the belt through the eyelets.
For mounting in a MOLLE system, we recommend not connecting the two parts for now. You can also mount the assembled hardshell holster in a Molle system. However, this is much more difficult than doing it separately. First, take the unassembled back plate and insert the eight hooks into the MOLLE loops. Four MOLLE loop slots are needed for this. If the two halves of the hardshell holster are not yet connected, you can assist in looping them in via the front (see product images). Once this step is complete and all hooks are firmly seated in the MOLLE system, you can connect the two parts of the hardshell holster.
To connect the two holster parts, place the front and back on top of each other.
Now, starting from the bottom, you can press the two parts together so that the plastic hooks engage in the recesses provided. It is a good idea to start at the bottom and work your way up hook by hook. Some pressure is required to join the two parts.
When all hooks are engaged, you can screw in the four connecting screws and tighten them hand-tight with the enclosed hexagonal wrench.
Note: The connecting hooks grip very tightly into the mating piece (to create optimal hold) and are not designed to be disconnected and reconnected multiple times. If the process is repeated too many times, individual hooks may break. The connecting screws would still hold and make use possible, but the magazines would no longer hold as tightly.
