This aluminum mount is suitable for AK and SVD models.
It is clamped to the side of the corresponding mount on the receiver.
After mounting, a 134 mm long Rail with 8 slots for optics is available.
The clamping force can be adjusted via a click mechanism on the screw.
The Rail can be rotated for mounting on AKSU weapons (high rear sight).
Note on mounting / adjustment:
Please first press the spring-loaded retaining jaw downwards so that the Barrel Nut is exposed and can be adjusted. The screw on the retaining jaw must be unscrewed slightly so that the rail can be pushed cleanly onto the mounting rail of the weapon.
Now turn the lever of the mounting to fix it. If the mount is still loose, the mount must be removed briefly and the screw at the bottom of the retaining jaw (press the retaining jaw down so that the Barrel Nut can move freely) must be screwed in further. However, if the lever does not close properly at this point, the screw must be unscrewed further. It is best to adjust this bit by bit until the retaining jaw is perfectly seated and the lever can be moved without much resistance
