The ZM1 is a lightweight mount (weight: 172 g), suitable for AK & SVD airsoft guns with a corresponding side mount on the Body, which can be adjusted precisely and easily. Made of robust aluminum, it has a 170 mm long Picatinny rail that offers versatile options for attaching optics
A special feature is the QD system, which can be adjusted in its clamping force (width) by means of a screw, making it possible to attach it to many weapons. This adjustment option ensures a secure fit of the mount and makes it easier to use on different weapon models within the AK platform with a mount for Side Mount.
Mounting:
Mounting is very simple and can be done in 2 ways:
Option 1: You open the clamping lever and place the ZM1 Mount on the mounting rail of the gun. Then turn the nut clockwise until the ZM1 mount is loose but no longer comes off the gun. If you now close the QD lever, the Mount should be tight and without play. If not, you can open the lever again and adjust the nut.
Option 2: Open the screw / nut on the ZM1 AK/SVD Mount to the maximum, place it on the gun mount and close the QD lever. Now screw the mount clockwise, like a classic mount, so that it is tight and free of play. If you now want to remove the mount, simply open the QD lever.
Note:
➡ clockwise = tighter
⬅ Counterclockwise = loose
