Begadi AK Telescopic Shaft / Stock "PT-3 Style" (Version 1 / 21.35mm shaft adapter + 3mm wedge)
The Begadi AK telescopic stock "PT-3 Style" is suitable for all AK models with corresponding stock adapter (folding stock), here in version 1 / 21.35mm stock adapter + 3mm wedge
The stock is adjustable in height and length and can be additionally fixed by means of a screw on the stock, also a sling swivel was installed under the stock tube to be able to adapt a sling.
Attention:It can happen with one or the other model that the shaft does not sit 100% and has some play to the left/right/top/bottom. We recommend here then to put something between shaft adapter and body/GB to jam this so something. We have been able to solve this with some foam. Also, the hole on the retaining block (shaft lock) may need to be slightly expanded because it is somewhat small due to the applied coating.
Height of the shoulder rest assembly (difference between the two stock versions):
The two stock versions differ only in the area of the shoulder butt mount, everything else is identical in each case. We would like to go into these differences in detail here:
Version 1 / 21.35mm socket adapter + 3mm wedge:
Height of the stock adapter WITHOUT locking wedge: approx. 21.35mm
Height of the shank adapter WITH locking chock: approx. 24.35mm
Height of the locking wedge at the pin position: approx. 3.00mm
Version 2 / 18.9mm shank adapter + 3mm wedge:
Height of shaft adapter WITHOUT locking shim wedge: approx. 18.90mm
Height of the shaft adapter WITH locking chock: approx. 21.90mm
Height of the locking wedge at the pin position: approx. 3.00mm
If none of the mounting adapters fit here size-wise, you can either adjust the height of the adapter (e.g. file the upper part to fit) or in case of a too large distance use small washers to adjust it that way.
Instead of the adapter, you can also adjust the height of the wheel chock.

18.35mm adapter height + 3.00mm wedge height = 21.35mm / Thus version 2 is suitable here!
E&L:
21.35mm adapter height + 3.00mm wedge height = 24.35mm / Thus version 1 is suitable here!
LCT:
18.90mm adapter height + 3.00mm wedge height = 21.90mm / Thus version 2 is suitable here!
