Our DBAL model is a high-quality laser dummy, which was built from the ground up as a dummy. It is not a deactivated laser/light module. Therefore, this DBAL model is a 100% compliant decomodel with the German jurisdiction and specifications of the WaffG.
The box is not made of ABS, but of robust nylon fiber with detailed lettering. The dummy can be mounted on all Picatinny Rails via an adjustable QD system. For this purpose, the dummy is mounted with a closed clamp like a conventional RIS accessory by screwing. The dummy is then adjusted to the rail and can be removed or mounted at any time using the quick mount without tools! The clamping force can also be adjusted using the slotted screw on the side.
There is a special marking on the underside (not visible after installation) indicating that this is a dummy. This helps authorities to identify the dummy to avoid any confusion.
The rear cover can be opened by loosening the 4 rear screws (Allen key included). Inside is a plastic frame which has no function.
This frame can be removed by loosening the top screw, leaving the inner area free to store batteries or tools. Unfortunately, there is not enough space to store SAEG-capable batteries.
The dummy has a 2.5mm jack connection, without function. To attach a 3.5mm deco cable switch, it must be drilled out slightly!
The scope of delivery also includes an easily adjustable Front Sight, which can be optionally installed and is compatible in height with most commercially available rearsights. This eliminates the need for an extra Frontsight. The Frontsight is fixed to the top of the dummy with a screw and can be adjusted laterally. It is not a replacement for an optical sight, but a fully-fledged BUIS component. See also the schematic illustrations below!
Also included is a sticker set in different color schemes and with different designs, examples can be found in the application pictures! These are very high quality stickers that are durable and weatherproof, pay attention when applying them, it is difficult to remove and correct them!
