Begadi PRO LiPo Battery Guard / Fire protection bag "Multi Rack", 200 x 160 x 60mm

Our "Battery Guards" are high-quality, tested safety bags for storing, charging and transporting batteries.
We asked various companies to send us samples of their best and safest Pouch or to send us samples of the best possible quality. These samples were then tested for safety together with the fire department. For this purpose, LiPo batteries were overcharged inside the Pouch to cause the batteries to explode. You can find the video below. The results were shocking, as 80% of the Pouches failed the test, even though they were marketed as very safe. Flames often erupted from the Pouch, which in turn could set nearby objects on fire, or the seams and bolts could not withstand the enormous pressure.
In the end, only one manufacturer was able to convince in the sample production. This manufacturer also produces protective equipment and insulation for high-temperature applications, and we developed three different designs with them:
❖Model Singlerack, which is suitable for a battery pack
❖Model Doublerack, for two battery packs
❖Model Multirack, for up to four battery packs
Each of these pouches has a three-layer material composition, with the outer and inner layers each consisting of an aramid fiber that can withstand temperatures of up to 700 °C. In between, there is a thick layer of aramid fiber. In between is a thick layer of glass wool. As a result, our Pouches reach a very low external temperature of approx. 60-70 °C in the event of a fire. The temperature was continuously monitored by the fire department during our tests. This makes it possible to remove the Pouch from a building or vehicle.
The seams and Bolts were a common problem. These either could not withstand an explosion inside or burned through directly. For this reason, we also use aramid for the seams, which prevents our pouches from bursting open and keeps the heat or flames inside. We don't take any risks with the zippers either: These are fireproof on all Pouches and are also used in fire department equipment.
Data (Multirack):
»Material: Aramid fiber, glass wool
»Outer dimensions: 200 × 180 × 100 mm
»Zipper: fireproof
»Maximum number of battery packs: 4
»Maximum number of individual cells: 12
»Protective flaps: Yes
»Sorting aid: Yes
»Suitable for: LiPo, LiFePo, LiIon
»Function: Charging, storage, transportation
»Maximum dimensions for one battery: 150 × 40 × 40 mm (optional 180 mm AK type)
The Multirack version has three sorting aids inside, which can optionally be removed to accommodate long 180 mm AK-type batteries.
Please note: As the Pouch must be closed during the charging process, extension cables are often required for the balancer.
Compatible accessories:
- Begadi extension cable for balancer with XH connector (2S) 7.4V
- Begadi extension cable for balancer with XH connector (3S) 11.1V

![]() Each of our Pouches is designed for a certain maximum number of batteries. This number must not be exceeded; batteries with fewer cells are not a problem. If more batteries than specified are charged or stored in the Pouch, the pressure inside will increase too much in the event of a fire and safety can no longer be guaranteed. This also applies to AEP and mini batteries - in the event of a fire, even several small packs will develop considerable pressure and heat, especially in a closed Pouch. This pouch is tested for 🔋 4 Batteries with a max total of 12 LiPo Cells ⚡ 11,1 Volt Voltage max ➕ 2.500mAh max Capacity per Battery Make sure that the Pouch is always completely closed (zipper and outer flaps). We have tested the Pouch with 11.1 V LiPo batteries with up to 2,500 mAh. If you use larger RC batteries, the test is no longer meaningful. If the outer or inner shell of the Pouch is damaged, the glass wool is exposed, in which case the Pouch must be disposed of immediately. Even though our Pouches offer a very high level of safety, always observe the usual handling of rechargeable batteries and never leave them charging unattended! Please note that we accept no responsibility or warranty if these instructions are not followed! |
