Begadi Picatinny Rear & Front Sight Bundle "Classic Precision", made of nylon-reinforced Polymer - black
Other interesting articles:
This full-fledged sight consists of a set of Flip-Up Front and Rear Sights, made of robust, weatherproof nylon-fiber composite plastic. Both elements can be reliably opened manually via locking mechanisms on both sides. The mechanism is supported by a strong spring tension so that there is no play when unfolded
This open sight can be finely adjusted and is more than just a back-up sight, it is a fully-fledged open sight that is an excellent alternative to optical and electronic sights, especially when low weight and all-weather suitability are required.
Robust construction and precise adjustment
The set consists of Front and Rear Sights made of durable nylon-fiber composite. The flip-up mechanism works with one hand movement and locks reliably and without play thanks to high spring tension. When folded, the set is particularly flat - ideal when optics are mounted on cantilever or co-witness mounts - a decisive advantage in dynamic scenarios
Both the front and rear sights can be adjusted without tools via defined clicks. The adjustment is based on the MOA principle (Minute of Angle), as is also common with optical sights. With a sighting line of 14.5 inches / 36 cm, the click adjustment is around 0.7 MOA (Rear Sight) or approx. 0.64 MOA (Front Sight) per click (at 100 m). This enables precise corrections of the point of impact - not only at close range, but also at medium distances
Use of this table:
The table describes how the line of sight changes with a >Click< of the adjustment. It is important to take the distance of the Front and Rearsight into account. 25cm usually corresponds to shorter weapons, such as MP5 and co, 36cm is the normal sighting distance for a Nova MK18 and similar weapons.
Practical example:You want to shoot a Begadi Nova 18 and have a distance of 10m to the target. The hits are on average 15mm too far to the left and 10mm too low:
❖ A >Click< at 25m corresponds to an adjustment of 5mm at a distance of Front - Rear 36cm
❖ You adjust the rearsight >Click< to the right
❖ And the Frontsight 2 >Click< upwards.
All in all, these sights are not decorative elements, but functional, precisely adjustable sights that can be used both as a backup and as a primary aiming aid.
Technical data:
» Material: nylon fiber composite (high-strength)
» Weight Front Sight: 30 g
» Weight Rear Sight: 32 g
» Height of the sight line when folded out: approx. 35 mm
» Height when folded in: approx. 10 mm
» Suitable for all Picatinny rails
