The "PILLAR" rail system is another design by Otto Repa, a well-known German gunsmith and developer.
Among other things, Mr. Repa was instrumental in the development of the Picatinny rail, as well as the WA2000 sniper rifle.
The "TAIGA" rail system for AK47 was developed for the Realsteel and sport shooting market to enable an effective and simple upgrade for weapons of the AK family. Our version allows classic AK weapons to be upgraded with a modern add-on rail, similar to the US Army's SPR project.
Ideal for PMC conversions and as a base for modern "Spetsnaz" AKs, especially in combination with the "TAIGA" Frontset!
