Begadi PRO 70° "MAG5 SHORT" AEG R-Hop Bucking / Rubber (Air Sealed, for approx. 5mm barrel window) -black-
The MAG series are newly developed R-Hop Buckings/Rubbers from Begadi, designed in Germany!
These are specially designed for modern AEG/S-AEG weapons and HopUp units and have some special features to increase the range and reduce the dispersion:
Short:
This is a bucking with a short sealing lip, this is necessary for some HopUp Units like Cyma/Begadi Sport M4 with Rotary Unit, MOD 25 & BR10 with Rotary Unit and E&L M4. Otherwise feeding problems may occur with a 21.50mm Nozzle. If you are not sure which version is suitable for you, we always recommend to install a regular version first. For Cyma/Begadi Sport M4 models without Rorary Unit we recommend the use of the Regular Version.
Patch:
Our patch of the MAG5 and MAG7 bucking has a radius of 2.9mm (5.8mm diameter). This is slightly less than the BB itself and thus ensures accurate centering of the BB in the barrel. Likewise, the BB is guided straight during firing to prevent runaways to the side. This patch is an R-hop and is particularly suitable for heavy BBs.
Alignment:
To prevent the bucking from twisting on the barrel,
the patch lies on the left and right directly on the barrel window.
Seal:
Our MAG Buckings feature two optimized seals:
- The transition between the nozzle and the bucking (sealing lip) is rounded. This rounding enables the Nozzle to load the BB more easily into the HopUp. This also creates a very good seal to the nozzle (assuming the correct nozzle length)
For the best possible seal we recommend the combination with our Begadi PRO CNC Nozzle with two O-rings, this is available in many lengths.
- Two elevations in the front area: At these points our rubbers/buckings have a diameter of 9.80mm, which press into the HopUp Unit during installation and thus no pressure is lost.
Please note: For a flat or round Nozzle we still recommend the FLY or MAG series, for pointed Nozzles the SHP series should be used.
Durability and wear:
All of our Begadi PRO Buckings are made from a very tough and durable rubber compound. This keeps the set HopUp effect constant over a long time and wears out much slower than conventional rubbers.
You also don't have to worry about the rubber cracking on the patch during disassembly or maintenance. However, you should exercise some caution when pulling it off. Please note the correct choice of hardness for your weapon (energy and bullet weight). If a too soft rubber is selected here, the wear increases!
Marking/Hardness:
To be able to distinguish our buckings, the respective version is directly marked. The rubber compound (hardness) is reflected in the color: 50° green - 60° blue - 70° black.
Thus, it is immediately apparent which version it is.
Versions 5mm or 7mm:
Another special feature are the two available lengths of the inner patch. The respective number indicates the required length of the barrel window.
- 5mm version: These Buckings are compatible with all standard barrels with a HopUp window of 4.8 - 5.2mm. For particularly heavy BBs (0.40g+) we recommend rather to reach for the 7mm version + tuning barrel, since here less pressure of the Tensioner is needed
- 7mm version: This is a special version which is only suitable for tuning barrels with a 6.8 - 7mm window. (DaVinci 70, TNT...). Due to the significantly longer patch, a much stronger Magnus effect is created here and is especially suitable for heavy BBs very well. Please note that it can come with light BBs rather to an overhop! We recommend using the 7mm combination only from 0.40g+ BBs.
Tensioner:
We have also developed matching tensioners for our Buckings, these are exactly matched. If our tensioners are not compatible with your HopUp unit, please use Flat Hop tensioners.
Recommendation:
- Begadi PRO 70° HopUp Tensioner (D=3mm) -5mm- for barrels with standard (approx. 5mm) barrel window
- Begadi PRO 70° HopUp Tensioner (D=3mm) -6mm- for barrels with large (approx. 7mm) barrel window
- Begadi PRO 70° HopUp Tensioner (D=2,5mm) -5mm- for barrels with standard (approx. 5mm) barrel window
- Begadi PRO 70° HopUp Tensioner (D=2,5mm) -6mm- for barrels with large (approx. 7mm) barrel window
Shooting in:
Like all other available buckings on the market, ours must be shot in. A constant HopUp effect is achieved after approx. 200 - 400 shots. (Depending on energy and bullet weight)
Avoid setting too much hop with the first 2 magazines, as the patch must first work its way in.
MAG or FLY version:
Our FLY is more like a flat hop, offers very good centering and a low spread circle with good range. In comparison, our MAG is an R-Hop bucking and creates a stronger HopUp effect.
The range of the MAG version is therefore slightly higher, but the spread circle can be somewhat larger here, accordingly, the MAG should only be used with heavy BBs.
Special case Begadi Sport M14 / Cyma M14:
The M14 from Cyma uses a significantly shorter bucking. Our normal FLY5, FLY7, MAG5, MAG7 can be used here, but the rubber must be cut off at the front (towards the muzzle) by 2 - 3mm. If you do not want to do this yourself, we already offer a ready-cut version here. - Art. 26021016

In the following table we would like to give you a short exemplary overview for which HopUp Unit we recommend which Bucking. Please note that there may be differences depending on the manufacturer and weapon!
In most cases, only the nozzle length must be adjusted here. Unfortunately, we cannot cover all weapons on the market, since the barrel used, the tappet plate, the sector gear and the shell also have an influence on the required nozzle length.
The buckings marked with green are compatible with the original nozzle length, marked with white means that the nozzle length must be adapted (changed).
