Product views of the CNC Back Cover Set:

(Dis)assembly instructions - disassembly part - step 1:
Shows a still fully assembled back cover.

(Dis)assembly instructions - disassembly part - step 2:
Now remove Springs and carbons.

(Dis)assembly instructions - Disassembly part - Step 3:
Now remove the screws together with the washers.

(Dis)assembly instructions - Disassembly part - Step 4:
Detach the cover from the engine block. Make sure that the old Bearing is also removed. In this condition, the Motor could also be cleaned with brake cleaner (if already older). Work cleanly so that no foreign bodies get into the Motor.

(Dis)assembly instructions - Fitting the new cover - Step 5:
Now mount the new cover on the motor shaft. As our Mamba Motors have very strong magnets, you will need to apply some force in this step, as you will have to work against the magnetic force. Be careful not to damage the internal Bearing.

(Dis)assembly instructions - Fitting the new cover - Step 6:
Now fit the screws. Tighten them hand-tight.

(Dis)assembly instructions - Fitting the new cover - Step 7:
Now fit the carbon brushes. If your carbon brushes are already worn down, new ones can be fitted directly here. Ensure that they are correctly aligned.

(Dis)assembly instructions - Fitting the new cover - Step 8:
Now fit the Springs so that the carbons are pressed inwards against the collector.
