The Forest Walker suit was born from the idea of a long anorak in the style of the alpine and mountain hunter anoraks of the 30s and 40s. It was important to us to create an anorak that combines the greatest possible protection, flexibility and storage space with complete freedom of movement. For ergonomic reasons, the original version made of water-repellent cotton fabric gave way to the current version made of roughened, textured softshell fabric.
The softshell fabric is characterized by its low weight and almost silent feel, yet is highly water-repellent and breathable! By dispensing with Velcro fasteners, all sources of noise have also been reduced to a minimum. Unusual for a softshell: almost all important seams are additionally taped!
The anorak has 7 spacious Pouches:
- two arm pockets (which can hold up to 2 M4 magazines
- two large side pockets
- one large chest pocket with horizontal access (L/R)
- one large chest pocket with vertical opening and cover
- a large back pocket into which a seat pad can also be inserted
The generously cut hood with visor allows headgear to be worn, but can also be perfectly adjusted to the head without it. The high-closing collar allows both generous ventilation and reliable wind protection!
The suit is ideal as basic clothing for snipers, as all the dangers of getting caught are avoided by the cut and the pouches are arranged so that they can also be reached with a sniper suit. In addition, pads can be inserted into the jacket to facilitate low-level walking and observation.
The Forest Walker is also an ideal suit for hunting and outdoor activities in cold and damp weather!
The suit has a wide and comfortable cut!
