Begadi PRO VARIOHEAD Adjustment Tool and Universal Barrel Cleaning Rod with Grip -403mm-
Other interesting articles:
This adjustment tool is required to adjust the Begadi PRO VARIOHEAD directly through the inner barrel and can also be used as a universal cleaning rod for Airsoft barrels.
Due to the different cylinder head designs, this hex features a special size of 3.80 mm.
No disassembly of the body is required to adjust the Vario Head.
The red protective sleeve made of plastic protects the inner barrel from scratches. It also has a diameter of 5.90 mm, ensuring the tool is guided centrally so the hex engages the internal adjustment cleanly without damaging the cylinder head.
To simplify adjustment, the handle features markings indicating rotation direction and adjustment positions. In combination with the click system, this allows quick and precise setting of the desired configuration.
The specified length is measured from the front tip to the handle base (the handle itself is NOT included).
To determine the correct length for your replica, calculate: inner barrel length + 60 mm + flash hider (if the flash hider is not removed). Alternatively, measure from the flash hider to approximately the piston head in the gearbox. For example, an M16 with a 509 mm inner barrel requires the 573 mm tool. It is recommended to choose a slightly longer tool to compensate for possible piston pre-cocking.
The PRO VARIOHEAD Adjustment Tool is significantly more robust and, thanks to the handle, safer and easier to grip.
💡 Cleaning tip when using the Variohead tool:
It is recommended to remove the inner barrel from the hop-up unit and to remove the hop-up rubber before cleaning.
For cleaning, either cloth or paper can be used. In the photo series, standard kitchen paper cut to approx. 9 cm x 6–8 cm rectangles was used.
Wrap the paper or cloth around the tip of the tool so that a small portion protrudes at the front and the rear edge aligns cleanly with the red protective sleeve. Twist the front of the paper or cloth slightly and insert the rod into the barrel using a rotating motion (rotate either the barrel or the tool—whichever works better).
Cleaning agents such as isopropyl alcohol or brake cleaner may be used. Repeat the process from both sides until no more dirt appears on the paper. Replace the paper or cloth as needed.
💡 Note: If using a thicker cloth, it is best not to wrap it around the tool. Instead, cut it so it can be guided directly into the barrel. Then push the cloth through the barrel with the tool and repeat the process from both sides as necessary.

Use as a universal cleaning rod:
The adjustment tool can also be used very effectively as a universal cleaning rod—to push a cleaning patch (or a jammed BB) through the barrel. Most Airsoft cleaning rods are made of plastic and may break when force is required, such as when clearing a jammed BB.The PRO VARIOHEAD Adjustment Tool is significantly more robust and, thanks to the handle, safer and easier to grip.
