Note on legal classification
The Begadi Mine M1 is available from us without proof of age or restrictions. This is due to the fact that the Mine has no properties that make it relevant for weapons legislation.
  • its function is not suitable for influencing a person's power of attack or defense (WaffG Annex 1 ff.)
  • the BBs are not fired in a targeted manner (WaffG Annex 1 / 1.2.3.)
  • no cold gases are used for propulsion (WaffG Annex 1 / 1.9)
  • the projectiles are not propelled through a Barrel (WaffG Annex 1 / 1.1)
See also the entire legal text. Of course, the Begadi Mine M1 is also subject to regulatory provisions, especially with regard to its use in public spaces (nuisance, gross mischief, damage to property, etc...)! The mine should also be used responsibly on the playing field.

The Begadi Mine M1 (M1 for short) is a sim mine developed by Begadi for airsoft, which works purely mechanically. This means that neither propellants nor pyrotechnics are required

The focus was on durability, uncompromisingly simple operation and flexible application options. Similar to our spring-loaded grenades, the BBs in the M1 are also distributed mechanically. Three specially shaped catapult arms are located inside the mine, which are released when the mine is triggered and distribute their contents (BBs, etc.) at an angle of 120°, resulting in a 360° range with all three arms. In the standard configuration, the mine is triggered via a cord that can be used as a remote trigger or as a tripwire. The purely mechanical design makes the M1 very robust and insensitive to weather influences. Maintenance is also very simple due to the low number of components.

Scope of delivery:
The Begadi Mine M1 comes in an individual box, in the box is a (fully assembled) Begadi Mine M1 and an accessory set, this contains:
  • the tool for assembly, maintenance and adjustment
  • an earth pin to fix the mine or the release cord
  • a safety pin

Features:
  • simple design, few parts and very easy to maintain
  • very rugged, even under mechanical stress
  • shoots / distributes up to approx. 420 BBs in all directions. (approx. 120 BB per sling arm)
  • Range approx. 3 meters in each direction with full load, i.e. 6 meters in diameter. (depending on BB weight, longer ranges possible with fewer BBs)
  • completely reusable: Simply cock and refill BBs
  • can be filled with a speedloader
  • Base plate made of cast metal, for better stability on hard surfaces
  • Completely weatherproof
To arm the Begadi mine, fold the 3 sling arms (red) down so that the upper section can be fully retracted, the trigger snaps into place and the mine is secured with the safety pin. Then fill the mine with BBs and close the rubber covers again. The Mine is now ready for use. The M1 can be filled with up to 420 BBs. However, the mine also works with fewer BBs, in which case the range is bigger.
To place the mine, choose a spot where it can be easily concealed and where there are no obstacles to the side or above (the mine needs about 20 cm of "headroom" in all directions). You can then attach a thin cord to the trigger of the mine and stretch it over the area to be blocked (the tension must not trigger the trigger, however). Now all you have to do is check that the trigger is hooked in, then the safety pin can be pulled and the mine is armed.

Tips for use
  • attach orange paracord to the safety pin to make it easier to find
  • the mine can also be sprayed with camouflage paint to break the silhouette
  • cover the M1 with a small amount of foliage for camouflage
  • couple two mines with the cord release to "block" a wider path
  • if you mix the BB weight (0.20 - 0.35), you achieve the best cover
  • we recommend using the M1 with the ground spike if possible to avoid slipping
  • the eyelet on the base plate can be used not only for fixing with the ground spike, but also as a carrying eyelet for carabiners, or as an anti-theft device in combination with a chain
  • always check the trigger before releasing the Safety pin
  • by selectively filling the limbs, the angle of action can be reduced to 120° or 240° by not filling all chambers.
  • we use standard Semi AEG Springs for ejecting the mine core. Tuning via this Spring is neither intended nor sensible with the M1.
