General info:
This weapon is a 3-shot semi-auto Shotgun, 3 BBs are fired simultaneously per shot. The intended use and range is therefore not comparable with other Semi AEGs. Even if the HopUp per Barrel is adjustable, the spread is somewhat higher. We recommend using a maximum of 0.25g BBs. The HopUp is not designed for a higher bullet weight.
We have also tested our in-house Buckings, with which the HopUp is no longer properly adjustable. The Tensioners of the SGR-12 sit at a slight angle, which results in strong tear-outs with FlatHop or R-Hop-like rubbers. Please also note the considerable weight of 4.3 kg.
To insert the battery, the butt plate can be removed using the button at the bottom. A maximum of one PEQ battery with 1500mAh fits inside. Suitable batteries are linked below. With the 3-cylinder system, the SGR-12 is somewhat louder than conventional Semi AEGs.
Properly understood and used, in our opinion this is a very attractive model for use in the CQB range. Due to the long-stroke system, we advise against using it in the Speedsoft range
Tuning:
Due to the 21 tooth system (long stroke), the response behavior of the SGR is not comparable with other Semi AEGs. For this reason, we offer the option of exchanging the Motors for our 30K Mamba. This makes the response faster (see video). The power consumption increases slightly compared to the original Cyma Motor.
Please note: The gun is very time-consuming to dismantle and not as easy as others. We therefore advise against disassembly without the necessary knowledge!
The original neodymium Motor will of course also work without any problems - the Mamba is simply an enhancement for a faster response. As explained in the general information block, you must be aware that this is a 3-shot semi-auto Shotgun - which should not be compared 1:1 with a standard Semi AEG.

In the following video we show a comparison between the original Motor and our Mamba 30K. For a better assessment. We have also shown an M4 NOVA Sport in comparison - both to get a comparison of the response behavior and (!) the volume compared SGR to a normal Semi AEG according to today's standards. In the video you can see an app running, which documents the volume. The video was filmed in a closed room, the values are of course different outdoors. The values are not intended to show absolute values that are valid everywhere, but rather a comparison between SGR and normal Semi AEG
